Cost Consultancy

We understand that in today’s market place cost is an extremely important factor in deciding whether to commit to a project.

Our highly skilled and experienced Cost Management team work closely with our diverse client base to ensure that budgets are accurately set at the outset and then to carefully consider the impact of any design choices on the overall cost of the scheme. Once the design is finalised we assist with procurement and selection of suitable Contractors and work with you to ensure a robust Contract is in place for the Works.

During construction, we will monitor costs in relation to progress to make sure you are paying nothing other than the right amount at any given point. Our core and overriding objective is to make every effort to ensure that you are commercially protected at all times.

Employer’s Agent & Contract Administrator

We act as both Contract Administrator on traditional projects and Employer’s Agent on design and build projects. Our driven consultants will ensure that the contract is administered fairly and that all parties are fulfilling their obligations.

We will also implement procedures in relation to change management and chair regular progress meetings. We welcome involvement of our Clients in the project however we recognise many prefer to leave it to us, allowing them to focus on what is important – their business.

Dan Ryde – Founder

Dan has spent many years working as QS consultant for a broad range of clients across a variety of sectors. His recent clients include Blackberry, La Prairie Skincare, CBRE, The Crown Estate, Balfour Beatty and ISG to name a few.

He is passionate about delivering exceptional service to you, our Clients, and set up D F Lynch believing that services could be better delivered by a team of young, dynamic and passionate individuals.

That ethos is very much at the core of our business today.

And our name…? Dan’s Grandfather, D F Lynch, was a local builder with an extremely strong work ethic and a primary focus on delivering an exceptional service always. Dan holds his Grandfather responsible for his inspiration to deliver a better level of service through D F Lynch today.

Hugh Prissick MRICS – Consultant

Hugh is a Chartered Building Surveyor and a hugely experienced Project Manager responsible for the successful delivery of a large number of projects throughout the UK.

He is the Project Management lead within D F Lynch and whilst his skillset is invaluable across a breadth of sectors, he is typically involved on fast paced, demanding schemes where he has an ability to add real value.

His recent clients include Booking.com, Netflix and Unruly Media to name but a few.
